This is a 50 cal ammo box located along the Pennyrile Nature Trail in northern Christian County.
Located in a vally along Lake Beshear, you'll be surrounded by rock dropoffs, waterfalls, and steep hills. Bring your hiking boots and spirit of adventure. The actual cache is located about 200 yards off of the Pennyrile Nature Trail and about 1/4 mile from pavement. Depending on your direction of approach the level can be rated from Three Stars up to Five Stars (geowife swears it is five stars no matter how you do it). If you approach from the East plan on bringing your rapelling gear. Approach from the North or West is highly recommended. Once you get into the valley expect satellite reception to become erratic. The coordinates listed were arrived at by taking readings on three diffent days with two different GPS receivers and averaging the readings.
