The swinging bridge is not there any more. Look for the grassy trail that leads you to the creek. Look for an ammo box. NEW CORDS!

Follow the sign and the path along the corn field to the woods behind the white farm house. Follow the grassy path to Aukerman Creek. Good idea to bring the bug spray in the summer. There are clean restrooms on the property.
Preble County Historical Society is under a budget crunch like the rest of us. Unfortunately the swinging bridge has fallen apart and it will not be replaced for quite some time; due to inadequate funds.
Sorry for the missing bridge. The remains of the bridge are visible to give you an idea of where you are and what it once looked like. Here's hoping that the funds will be there in the future so that you may have the adventure of crossing on a swinging bridge.
