Leirintäalue Ristijärven Pirtin päärakennus on entinen Ristijärven seurakunnan kanttorila. Viimeisin kanttori, joka tässä päärakennuksessa on asunut oli nimeltään Arvid Raitala. Päärakennus on säilytetty ja entisöity vanhaa kunnioittaen. Nykyisin tässä luonnonkauniissa niemessä toimii leirintäalue.
The main building of the Ristijärvi Pirtti Camping Site is a former residence of the cantor of Ristijärvi parish. The last cantor who lived in this main building was Arvid Raitala. The building has been conserved and renovated with respect to old building tradition. Today, this area of natural beauty serves as a camping site.
Kätkö soveltuu erinomaisesti esimerkiksi autoilevalle matkailijalle. Kätkölle tullessa kannattaa varata hieman aikaa tutustuaksesi tähän ympäristöön. Tulethan vierailemaan kätköllä mieluummin leirintäalueen auki ollessa klo 08:00 - 22:00 välisenä aikana. Auto kannattaa jättää alueen parkkipaikalle. Talvikaudella leirintäalue on suljettu jolloin siellä voi liikkua muulloinkin.
The geocache is ideal, for example, for tourists travelling by car. Be sure to make time for looking around the place. It is recommended to visit the area during camping site opening hours, between 08:00 a.m. and 10 p.m. Leave your car at the parking area of the site. During the winter season the camping site is closed and travelling around the area is allowed at all hours.
Kätkölle pääsy saattaa olla talvisin vaikeaa auraamattomien polkujen yms vuoksi.
Reaching the geocache in the winter might cause some difficulties, for example, because of the snowy, unploughed trails.
