The Sauratown Trails Association is organizing our third CITO event. On Sunday, April 23th, we will meet by the picnic shelter at the Brims Grove Parking Lot, and we will be cleaning up from about 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The focus will be cleaning up the parking lot, then moving the nearby road. This event is primarily intended for geocachers; however, anyone interested in the trail is welcome to come help with the effort.
All participants will be asked to sign a waiver before collecting trash.
Participants should wear gloves, a bright vest, long pants and closed toe shoes to prevent cuts and injuries.
If you do not bring a pair of gloves or a vest, we have some you can borrow.
Insect repellant and sunscreen are recommended; there are ticks and chiggers out here.
We will have heavy duty trash bags available.
