Cache is located at the pumping station for the Huron and Isle Royale Mines. Water was pumped from Huron Lake to the mines for the boilers and drills. Older rock and mortar foundations are from the Huron Mine era and the poured concrete from the Isle Royale Mine. Earlier mistook this for the Huron stamp mill.
