Geocache Description:

Enjoy a pleasant drive to Lowville Park and then a nice playground and river to meet you when you arrive. This is also a great place for a summer picnic.

This cache is hidden well in the back portion of the park. When you arrive take time to just look around the park at first, as there is much to offer you - maybe even dip your feet in the stream just to cool off after a nice drive. Then on to find the Canada Day Cache. (So named because it was built over the Canada Day Long Weekend of 2003.)

From the main parking area you are very close to the cache. Over the stream, you'll find a path, two ways to go, easy or hard. Go low or go high....

If you take the hard way you will need to keep to the right most of the way there. You will find two openings, one will have a fence not allowing you to go any further. The other will take you into a farmers' field. There will also be a tree or two in the middle of the path. You will get to what seems like a snag, but keep going on the trail, (some GPS units might loose signal). If you find a really open section on the path with two trails, one leading down and another up, you have gone too far! Go back about 20m.

The container is a regular camoed lock n' lock.

Camera 1 pics now on site. Please check 'em out. If you can find yourself please let me know and I will change the name and caption. Thanks to all who took pics.
