This virtual is located in the small town of Damascus, Virginia. In order to get credit, you must find the brick underfoot that reads "Teaberry Tracker." Email me the date that is on the brick. You will be on the Appalachian when you see the brick.
This brick was given to me by my Grandmother after completing a south bound thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. I started my six month journey by climbing Mt. Katahdin in Maine and finished 185 days later on Springer Mountain, Georgia. The date on the brick is the year that my thru-hike took place.
Part of the fun (and the difficulty) of this virtual is that you will find hundreds of hand painted bricks in this area. I believe this virtual will be fun for the whole family. And you'll be walking on the Appalachian trail for a short while! This virtual cache is also wheelchair accessible.
When you locate the brick, go ahead and log your find and then email me the answer. Remember not to give the answer away in your post.
