Community Orchestra Series #3 Nova Vista Symphony Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

KarenLona: This cache appears to have gone missing when landscaping was done at the elementary school. After COVID, Nova Vista Symphony has moved its rehearsal location. A new cache replacing this one will be placed at the new rehearsal location. The composer clue will be the same in the new cache, so the final puzzle will be unchanged. Happy caching!

Geocache Description:

This series of caches will tell you about different community orchestras in the SF Bay Area. This is an especially rich area for amateur music. Each of these caches will also have a clue in it, the name of a composer. Collect all the composer names to get the coordinates for a bonus cache.

The Nova Vista Symphony, now in its 53rd concert season, is the largest, long-standing community orchestra in the Santa Clara Valley. Comprised of more than 70 volunteer musicians and led by Maestro Anthony Quartuccio, Nova Vista Symphony endeavors to make live classical music appealing, accessible and affordable to individuals and families, to provide an opportunity for local talented musicians to excel at performing sophisticated orchestral repertoire, to provide a showcase for local soloists and composers, and to educate tomorrow's audiences by exposing youngsters to classical music and the instruments of the orchestra.

Nova Vista Symphony rehearses every Tuesday night during the school year at nearby Lakewood Elementary School.

Bring a pen.

Congratulations to pasvienne on the FTF!
