Geocache Description:

The cache is not listed at the posted coordinates, but they do take you close to the final resting place of some WILCO66 family members in Seville Cemetery. You need to gather some information in the cemetery in order to locate the cache.

Driving past the town of Seville, you probably think "this place sure doesn't amount to much"--but there is a lot more to Seville than meets the eye.

Seville was founded in the 1880's on the shore of Lake George but the town shifted east after William Lente broght the railroad into the area and built the large grand-scale Hotel Seville to accomodate rail passengers. Visitors enjoyed the excellent hunting and fishing the area offered (Teddy Roosevelt once visited the town) but it was agriculture that attracted settlers. One of the founding families was the Graham family, who relocated from North Carolina. They probably came in search of a warmer climate and agricultural opportunities as well as following the progress of the railroad, wanting to explore new frontiers and settle in a growing area.

Great grandfather William Dow Graham (along with great-grandmother Elizabeth) farmed and also ran a small grocery store. Their only son, my grandfather Jamie David Graham grew up in Seville and worked in the citrus industry most of his life. Back in those days, Seville was known as "the tangerine capital of the world". Grandpa also owned ferneries, and fern eventually became the largest industry in the area. Granny, Julia Register Graham, drove a school bus for 28 years and worked with Grandpa in their ferneries. She was also born in Seville, to parents Thomas E. and Daisy Mae Register. Great-grandfather William Dow had two brothers: John, who became a Volusia County commissioner, and Alex, who owned orange groves and worked in the citrus industry. My father, John William Graham, was born and raised in Seville. He attended the school that is located near the convenience store off of Hwy. 17, and grew up in a two-story house that used to be located where the convenience store now stands. He worked for a while in the general store that was in the building you can see located diagonally across the street from the convenience store, and he also worked as a fishing guide at nearby Pine Island Fish Camp. My mother, Diane, moved to Seville in her teens. They eventually married and moved away from Seville when my father needed to relocate closer to the Sanford depot for his job with Atlantic Coast Line railroad, a job he kept until he retired.

It is not known exactly what drew the Grahams to this particular area or why most of them contined to stay in this small town their entire lives. The answer to these questions must lie in the cemetery with them, as do the clues you will need to locate the cache.

The posted coordinates take you close to the final resting place of some family members. Starting here, you need to gather the following information:

Julia R. Graham was born in the year 191? Let ? = F
W.D. Graham was born during what month of 1883? Take this number and subtract 3 to get E
Leta Faye Graham passed away on what day of March 1941? Let the number = B
Jefferson Davis Graham passed away in 19?2. ? = A
Daisy Mae Register was born in 18?1. ? = D
John H. Graham passed away in 19?5. Take that number and subtract 3 to get C

The final is located at 29 19.ABC, 081 29.DEF

You will need to walk around the cemetery to gather this information. All of the family members are not located in one particular area. Even though the cemetery is not fenced, please do not try this one at night.

The cemetery is located adjacent to Lake Louise, once a popular swimmin' hole but now popular as a fishing spot--so watch out for the muggles. Dad used to skip school and go fishing here, taking a short cut through the cemetery.

The final is an ammo can. Please rehide the cache carefully so it doesn't get muggled again.
