busterbabes: Based on past logs, I think Spider Monkey will have to move on. Before the floods of 2008, Spider Monkey was pretty secure on private property. Not the case anymore.
Sorry to have to archive this one, as it was a .30 cal ammo can (gotta love the cans!), and originally placed by Speevah and BBJR. Good memories, good cache, but times change. [B)]

Geocache Description:

Spider Monkey lives along the banks of the Cedar River. You will have to figure out your own way to get back to it and it will be somewhat of a hike.
~~Please respect the property owners and don't cut through anyone's fields or fences.~~ There are no property owners here anymore. Park wherever you feel comfortable.
This is a larger ammo can. FTF gets a bobblehead if they want it. It is a collector's item.
A parking suggestion is along Old River road to the west of Big Bend Road, between the quarry entrance and Big Bend Road.

Congratulations to BF Gates for their very first FTF!!

Update!! This land is now county property. Walk in from wherever you feel comfortable parking.
