Shastie Stash 2 - Around Our Great State Mystery Cache

Your mission is to find and move each of eight traveling Shastie Stash 2 TB Game Pieces. These Game Pieces will be located in caches throughout the State of Michigan - both the lower and upper peninsulas. You may only find this geocache once you have moved all eight game pieces.

The difficulity attribute shown above is for the entire game. The terrain rating is for the final cache only (see the note below). The caches where the game pieces are located will determine the attributes for that game piece at that time.

The rules are very simple:

1. There are eight Shastie Stash 2 game pieces located in caches somewhere in the State of Michigan. You will need to find each of the game pieces and move them to another geocache. "Discovering" a Game Piece TB does NOT count, you must move it to another geocache. You may hand a game piece off to ONE other person before it has to be returned to a cache.

2. Game pieces can't be put into a cache that already contains another game piece. Please don't put the game pieces in a difficult (above 3/3) cache. Please do not place the game pieces in a Premium Members Only cache. Finding the game pieces should be relatively easy for even new cachers. Since there is only one of each of the game pieces, we ask that you have no more than one in your possession at any time. This keeps the game interesting and exciting for all involved.

3. PLEASE NOTE – we must be able to see from the TB logs that you have moved each of the game pieces to another cache at least once. We will check this for anyone claiming a find.

4. These game pieces are standard Travel Bugs and should be treated as such. Please don't hold onto them for extended periods. Keep them in play for others to find. In the case of a lost or broken game piece, we will put another into play as soon as possible.

Once you have moved all eight game pieces - email us a list of the caches you found each game piece in, the caches you dropped each game piece in, and the dates. We will check to verify that you have grabbed and placed each of the game pieces in another cache per the rules above. When this is confirmed, we will email you the final cache information and location. Note: The Game Piece TBs no longer have code words on them, and code words are no longer necessary to get the coordinates for the final cache.

In accordance with the spirit of the original cache, we have left the original terrain rating of 1. The terrain at the current cache location is pretty easy, but just to make sure that the cache is accessible to those in wheelchairs, we would be happy to meet anyone at the cache once they have qualified to facilitate the find. That said, we have no control over the accessibility of the caches where the game pieces are located, so to make this entire game wheelchair accessible, we will allow anyone with permanent mobility issues, to grab the game piece from another cacher and to have that cacher grab the game piece back to place it in a cache. We do request however that the wheelchair bound cacher actually touch the game piece (we'll be using the honor system).
