About the Location
This is a wooded area, crisscrossed with dirt paths. Please be careful not to trample the plants more than necessary. There is an opening in the fence nearby, so this is a good place to get from Hubbard Park to the Oak Leaf Trail, or vice versa. There is parking nearby on Providence Avenue to the south or you can park in the lot for Hubbard Park to the north. The cache will be findable with some snow on the ground.
About the Container
You are looking for a plastic container with a silver lid. It's a little bit smaller than a soccer ball. There is room for trade items and travel bugs. Please bring your own pen.
Pez Dispensers
When this cache was first created, part of the intention was for visitors to exchange Pez dispensers. That tradition is still going. If you find Pez dispensers in the container then you are welcome to trade evenly for other Pez dispensers you bring with you. If you don't have any Pez dispensers to trade, please just enjoy the flavor they add to the cache and leave them for others.
History
This cache was originally published on August 12, 2003, three years after the game of geocaching started. At the time, new caches were reviewed by members of the Wisconsin Geocaching Association. The original owner was Pezzer, who had only found four other caches at the time. He found a total of seven caches over his whole geocaching career. Pezzer transferred ownership of the cache to beezers958 in 2010, who later transferred it to Blue Crow Expedition in 2015. The cache has had at least five different containers and at least four locations in this area.
