Blackstrap Ski Hill was once a place that was always up and running. We spent many days on the slopes, and many school trips on skiing or snowboarding. Lately the slopes have been much quieter. After many years of exciting trips to the slopes, Blackstrap Ski Hill has been temporarily closed, then open for short term, then closed again, waiting for investment to reopen.
This cache lays not on the hill, but within view of the hill. We recommend parking at the given coordinates. Just make sure that you pull off of the road to the shoulder, then follow the trail down to the cache. While in the area, stop in at the Provincial Park, hit the beach, go fishing, camp out for the night, and enjoy the many activities that Blackstrap Lake has to offer!
You are looking for an ammo box (Thanks Jason and Kara!) hidden in the area. I've left some mosquito spray inside the box, JUST in case you're caching in mosquito season. Please don't trade for it, as other cachers might enjoy a spray! :) Please ensure that it is appropriately covered when you leave to avoid Muggle detection.
