Another cache in my favorite park, Quicksilver Park.
This trail is my wife's favorite. It runs from the McAbee entrance to Mockingbird and is just a path the whole way. The unofficial name given to this trail is The Poison Oak Trail. But I don't think it's that bad, just stay on the trail and you'll have a great hike. Even in the summer this trail is great, because most of it is in the heavily treed east-facing slope. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. If you see a lady running along with a dog that meets the discription on "One Eyed Jack" say hi. Please be careful to re-hide the ammo can well, I'd hate a mountian lion to find it.
