St Mary's is the Church of England Parish Church of Wigton in Cumbria, offering a range of services in various styles and everyone is welcome. We have a fine robed choir, a committed group of bell ringers, an active Mothers' Union, and activities for children and young people of all ages. We have an electoral roll of 230 members.
St Mary's is a beautiful Georgian building of 1788 with a famous Harrison & Harrison organ, fine stained glass, beautiful interior galleries and a celebrated colour scheme. It is open every day and welcomes visitors.
