Located in Joyden's wood, which is managed by the Woodland Trust. Terrain rating reflects off-road, though cyclable paths.
The cache is a 2 litre container located near a broad path, so there should be a reasonable signal a few metres from the cache.
The Faesten Dic Scheduled Ancient Monument (an Anglo-Saxon dike built in the 5th century to keep the Romans out) runs for over a kilometre through the forest (information board at N51.25.345; E0.9.491).
There are apparently numerous other archaeological sites of varying antiquity, deneholes (chalk mines) though these have now been filled in, and WWII bomb craters.
Suggested parking is on Summerhouse Drive, where an entry to the woods can be found next to a bus stop.
