EPIC Winding Roads Traditional Geocache

EPIC = Exploring Pender Island Caching

Pender is home to many winding roads that go up, down and all around! You must be a very dedicated cyclist or pedestrian to ride your bike or hoof it along these roads, as there are often miniscule shoulders and sudden blind corners. Luckily, this cache is located very near a large and safe pull out where you can be safely off the main throughfare as you make the quick park and grab!

Be on the lookout for a snaky road hill where six arrows (three to the right and three to the left) may be seen as you descend through a verdant fir forest. This cache is best approached from the uphill side where you can pull off into a wide pull-out just before the right hand set of arrows. If you are going uphill, which is away from the Driftwood Centre and towards Magic Lake, it is best to go up and over the hill and find a safe place to turn around to return to the six arrows. This should be a quick park and grab! BYOP!
