Geocache Description:

In celebration of our good geo friend, Ron. Congrats on your 3,000 find. Way to keep your 10% going. You will have to ask Raddad637 what that means ;o)

We hope that you will have the time to enjoy this location.
If you? Just North of cache.
For viewing a wintering raptor, Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge is a prime location as it provides a vast and largely undisturbed hunting ground. In fact, the Swainson Hawk and the Burrowing Owl are the only species of our more common raptors that completely move out for the winter. Northern Harriers, Red-Tailed Hawks, American Kestrels, Prairie Falcons and Great Horned Owls are a few examples of our year-long residents. Bald Eagles, Ferruginous Hawks and Rough-Legged Hawks are migrants from up north that you may see only during the winter here at the Refuge.
