Owned by Lord Northbourne, the Old Mill was entirely worked by wind using three pairs of stones..It underwent renovations In 1868 and again in 1928.

It was dismantled in 1957

The New Mill was built by Holman brothers in 1890 and is used today as a B&B for up to 6 people (@ £230 per week)
It was modelled on Drapers Mill in Margate, which is working and can be visited.

Holman Brothers ceased trading some decades ago but the yard and some of the buildings remain, forming the car park behind the cinema in Canterbury.

If anybody would like to expand this series, Email "Eastry Cache Bandits" so that they can inform you of the next number in the series to avoid duplication, and include a variation of this sentence in your cache description.
