Geocache Description:

This cache was inspired by the Geocache Challenge by PBS. This is a lock-n-lock hidden about 60 feet NW of the trail. This series is based on the PBS show "Dinosaur Train". Check http://www.geocaching.com/dinosaurtrain for more info.

This lock-n-lock is full of dinosaurs. There are also a couple of trackables. There is room for small trackables. Watch for thorns as you walk to the cache. We did not see any poison ivy but always be on the lookout. When you log your find, you could let us know your favorite dinosaur if you want to. This cache is named Cretoxyrhina. This is an ancestor of the sharks. Its name means "cretaceous jaws". The nickname for this creature was the "Ginsu" shark, after the kitchen knife. It lived around 100-80 million years ago. Hundreds of teeth and parts of the spinal column were the remains found.
