Nice walk on the beach in the Nisqually river delta.

The Nisqually Reach

Welcome to our first cache hide. Please Note that the listed co-ordinates are for the parking area of the

Nisqually Reach Nature Center, a great place to bring the kids to learn about, and explore the local habitat.

To find the cache you must first find the middle of the pier and get a GPS fix. Be sure to read about how the tides have created this unique environment. Next you will want to take a stroll on Luhr Beach. From the middle of the pier, go South .115 and West .064 minutes. You are looking for a green Lock'N'Lock, tucked away under a tree.

Be Aware:
  1. This is a public fishing area, so a
vehicle use permit is needed to park.
  • High water may hamper your hunt.
    • Check the tides before you go.
