Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Slade Lake Park in downtown Edgefield, SC.

Besides fishing, there is a current Rails-to-Trails path that takes you from the lake to the old water works. the path is exactly one mile long and every tenth of a mile is a monument for each of the Govenors of South Carolina. There is an old trestle bridge that divides the recreation area and the soccer complex. The cache is located about three tenths of a mile into the park. The coordinates will lead you directly to the cache. Parking can be had at the main entrance(N33 46.900 W81 55.180)or at the soccer complex(N33 46.835 W81 55.270) The park is full of muggles at all times so be discreet and please help keep the cache hidden well.
