Come visit a historic landmarked building along the “Ladies Mile” in the Flatiron district of Manhattan. The building, initially configured as the Gorham Manufacturing Company’s retail store was designed by Edward Hale Kendall and was completed in 1883. The 2 bottom floors were retail space while the remaining 6 floors were set up as bachelor’s apartments.
After Gorham left the building in 1905, it was reconfigured exclusively into lofts and offices with no retail space. After the building was reconverted back to its original configuration in 1977, the ground floor was again used as retail space and the remaining floors were made into cooperative apartments.
From the posted coordinates, take note of where you are and then walk around the corner to the large planter tucked into the side of the building to unlock the secret of this cache.
