Geocache Description:

You will find this cache on the new section of the Dutchess Rail Trail

You will be looking for this cache on the new half mile section added to the beginning of the Dutchess Rail Trail. You can park in the new lot (coordinates below) at Hopewell Depot which is in the process of being restored. This area is rich with railroad history, check this link out Cental New England Railway, scroll down the page it has lots of info and pictures of the the railroad era here in its heyday.......... This is a log only cache for all intents and purposes. It is a super tube(preform) that you will be searching for....... The container will easily separate from its holding device so please do not untie it from its spot..............There is a pencil in the container but it is always a good idea to bring your favorite writing utensil just in case. This can be a very busy area so using stealth and disguising your actions in your search will be a must at times. ...If you want you can take a seventeen mile round trip bike ride all the way up to Old Manchester Road in Lagrange from this point..............Enjoy this new section of the trail and as always Have Fun, Be Safe, Watch Out for Muggles, and Enjoy!
