Geocache Description:

The yellow one

This is The Yellow One

Β

I love a good night trail and I love Johnson Reserve, so I thought it would be an ideal place to set up a series of night trails, each slightly different, starting with the Yellow One.

You can make your way to the initial point under street lights, but once you get there, let your torch shine and guide your way. The brighter the torch, the easier it will be.

This should take you no longer than 10 minutes to GZ and you will be following a well formed walking track, but be aware that you will be following an open stream for part of the way.Β

The reflectors will direct you along the trail. If you lose your way, continue along the trail in the direction of the last arrow till you find the next. When the steps drop into an open grassy Walnut grove, you will need to expand your search off trail. (Hint: Look right)

Seeing you are in here, why not stop forΒ GC5GZ61 Still On hold - TB HOTEL (BOP)?

When you get to GZ, you are looking for a container that will contain the usual log to sign, but also a code number, which you should take note of, as you may find it useful for the Bonus Cache.

To return to your car, you could find the blue direction sign and follow the arrow to the waterfall and continue to follow the track to the end and find the alley you came in. Alternatively, you could make your way directly out to Meander Drive, turn right and follow the road up the hill to the end. Walk down the driveway at the end of the road to find the alleyway which connects with the one you came in at the start. Turn left and follow it to the top.
