An ancient tree in a wilderness area
We came upon this tree at the intersection of two marked trails while hiking to another cache. At first we thought that the tree was dead, but up near the top, we could see that it was budding once again. We didn't see any activity at the lower levels, but it must have been magnificent in its heyday. It's still beautiful now. Grab this one while hiking to the further caches in this wilderness area Cache is a black metal pill container. Well hidden, but not at all evil, and there is the reward of a 1968 silver Kennedy half dollar for the FTF. Congratulations to Team Mumu on the very rapid FTF!
