This cache has been archived.

Greenback: Thank you to everyone who hunted the caches in the Advance To Go series. I received a lot of positive feedback and really appreciated everyone’s involvement.

I would also appreciate it if someone were to pick up the old cache container, if you do, please post a found it (as a bonus for removing the cache) or note on the web page (if you prefer) indicating that you've picked up the cache. Please feel free to re-hide the cache somewhere else or dispose of the container as you wish. Thanks

Geocache Description:

What you're hunting for:
Cache = An attractive camo covered pill bottle.
Monopoly = One clue from this location equals one game board space and the answer is not GO or Illinois.

History:
This cache series was inspired by my recent trip to Omaha, Nebraska where I found a number of the caches in the 'Omahopoly' series created by 'The WBs'.

Concept:
'Advance to Go, Collect $200' is a series of urban micros with two bonus regular caches. Each micro cache is placed within sight of something which gives a clue to a property or game square on the original Monopoly game board. The micro caches are intentionally easy to find while the difficulty of identifying the reason for the chosen location will vary. The micro cache locations chosen are accessible both day and night. For each micro 'What you're hunting for' will tell you if you need to identify one or more objects and how many answers are needed from this location.

Rules:
[1] You may log a 'found it' if you sign the log sheet.
[2] There is one bonus cache for anyone who finds and logs all twenty-two micro caches.
[3] If you wish to seek the other three bonus regular caches you must email me with the name of the business(es) or sign(s) which equate to the game board space in the standard Monopoly game.
[4] You may send me an email with the clues each time you find a micro or you may send me one email with all of the clues from all of the micros, it's your choice.

Examples:
[A] After signing the log sheet; look at your surroundings and observe the buildings, businesses, road signs and everything around you. You see a business called 'New York Oriental Rugs'. This would be a double find, because in Monopoly there is a property called 'New York Avenue' and one called 'Oriental Avenue' so, you would email me with the name of the business and these two properties.

[C] After signing the log sheet; look at your surroundings and observe the buildings, businesses, road signs and everything around you. You might see a business called 'The Fishing Line' and down the street another called 'Short Order Restaurant' and together they would make 'Short Line' which is a railroad property in Monopoly. You would need to email me the names of the businesses and that Short Line is the answer.

Bonus Caches:
Bonus for finding all 22 micro caches
Bonus for finding all 22 micros plus all of the clues
Bonus for identifying all game board spaces not used
Bonus for finding all four railroad caches and their clues
