Geocache Description:

This cache is a large cliplock box containing swops, a log and a pen. There is no access to cache directly from road level. Please make your way down to the main path and climb when necessary.  The main path may become muddy.  The climb to the cache is short but steep, hence the high terrain the level and will become slippy and muddy when wet.

Since the closure of the railway in 1969 this area has been slowly reclaimed by nature. A wildlife haven slicing though the growing town. This section is mainly woodland habitat, great for birds, small mammals and insects. The openness of the cemetery next to the embankment provides a great foraging area.

The main path is also a part of the national cycle route scheme.  National Route 41 is a long distance route that when complete will connect Bristol, Gloucester, Stratford-upon-Avon and Rugby.

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of Rugby Borough Council.

Congratulations to Ordos for the FTF.
