Geocache Description:

A short steepish climb up the side of a waterfall.

The cache is by a waterfall in the Newlands Valley, with adequate parking nearby. Newlands was once the hub of extensive mining activity, now charming and peaceful - the crossing through the valley fully savours the magical mountain atmosphere. The Pass through the valley from Braithwaite to Buttermere has never been named, according to the locals. The waterfall itself can be accessed by a dedicated path from the parking area, providing beautiful views right down the Valley. The cache contains Tweenie ard game, picnic basket ;), egg timer, crystal garden, clowns, novelty drinking straw, water pistol, frog, magnet paper clip, sheep rattle.
