A Popular woodland walk in south Hampshire near Romsey.
Most of the paths are good, but a lot of the walk is under tree cover so beware of mud! In places the paths cross open fields. Please take care not to damage any crops that may be growing in the field just to the north. We're at the Squirrel Crossroads :) The path east from here takes you to the B3084 and on to Mottisfont Abbey, north leads deeper into the forest while continuing south leads to Lockerley Village. A small cache just big enough for some trinkets and a log. Please bring your own pen! Placed with permission of the NT.
