Geocache Description:

A pretty easy cache to find, park in Picnic area and its just a short walk.

Yornaning Dam
The Dam was originally constructed in 1886 to fill the overhead water tanks for use in the steam trains that ran from Perth to Albany. It was later used for water supply to Narrogin until the pipeline was completed. The Dam and surrounding area was vested to the Cuballing Shire in 1993 and has been upgraded for recreational swimming and general relaxation. Barbecues and picnic facilities are provided and there is a 1.5 km nature walk trail circling the water playground, wild flowers are plentiful in season. Council is also in the process of introducing trout to encourage recreational fishing.

The cache is a peice of PVC pipe about 100mm by 225mm with a screw lid, it has all the necessary items and some swaps. Please be fair with swaps it helps keep it fun for other cachers.
