Aloha! - Welcome to our tribute to the Hawaiian islands and the tropics! We have created this cache to bring a little island flavor to the state of Colorado.
After a great trip to the the Big Island this summer, we decided to bring part of it back to Colorado. During this enlightening hunt, you will learn many new Hawaiian words, and will be challenged by the complexity of the cache. So pack up your "kuuipo" (sweetheart) and your "keiki" (children), and go "mauka". There will be no "kokua" (help/assistance) during your hunt, so be "akamai" during your searches. If you encounter "pilikia" (trouble), seek the help of your "kumu" or your "mana". Once you are all "pau" (done), you will be rewarded with a "nani" view as well as a treasure trove of Hawaiian goodies. Please feel free to take one of these, but also please leave something in return. We only ask that you stick with the theme, and leave something related to the Hawaiian culture or to the tropics. If all else fails, grab a mai tai and hang out on the "lanai". Mahalo! - and have fun with our cache!
