In life, everything is not spelled out for us. There are times we do not know what to make of situations, and there are times when things may be right before our eyes, hidden in plain sight. Sometimes, when we cannot find the answers, all we need to do is to connect the dots. Well, this puzzle gets straight to the point – all you have to do is connect the dots to find the answer hidden in plain sight! I thought it would be fun to reach back to childhood and put together an old, connect-the-dots puzzle but with a more challenging twist.
It is said a picture is worth 1,000 words but, in this case, all you have to do is guess one word. What is the main subject of the connect-the-dots puzzle below? It is a(n) ____________________. Start at the green 1 (near the center), complete the picture, and plug the correct word into Certitude below, and you will be given the final coordinates to the cache. It’s that simple! Have fun, don’t step out of line, and avoid points of no return… 
This puzzle is the seventeenth in a series of puzzle hides that I have placed on Mount Tamalpais. The puzzles will range in difficulty but maintain higher terrain ratings. All of the hides are ammo cans. If you like puzzles, ammo cans, and adventurous hiking, this series should be right up your alley! All caches are hidden off the beaten path, and I would suggest taking a friend along.
