The iconic Hollywood sign is a stop forestmanjoo and I always make when friends visit from afar. In my conversations with local friends, I've been surprised by how many people haven't ever gotten close to it – mostly due to logistics. Yes, parking is a pain (which is why I Lyft to a trailhead!) and yes it can be hot to hike in the sun, but get off your butt and meet me in DOOWYLLOH!
Your mileage will definitely vary depending on which trailhead/parking area you choose but that's the fun in choosing your own adventure! I've included some trailhead/parking info here on the page but there are numerous other locations to get on the trail.
