Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is the fifth in a series for you to collect geobeads for your
GPSr. If you don't want to collect geobeads, please just sign the
log. Please don't take a bead as a trade item. This one has been
muggled once, so please be sure to put it back exactly where you
found it.
Like in Cub Scouts where boys get beads for completing
achievements, we have beads for geocaching achievements. Visit the
first GeoBeads cache to get the first geobead and the string. You
can tie the string to your GPSr. Each time you find another geobead
cache, just add the new bead to your string.
This magnetic cache is easily accessible from the Stevens Creek
Trail, and there is no need to step on any plants. You do have to
walk to this one - closest parking is at 37° 23.699 W 122°
04.176.
5/28/05 - Raised difficulty to 3 stars since we had to make this
harder to find - it's been muggled once. You can spot it without
moving anything if you look at the right angle. It is well-camoed.
We'll also give you another hint - if you're on ground level,
you're looking in the wrong place.
We created this cache to reward the people who find it. Please
help us by only taking one bead, only taking a bead if you want to
collect them (not as trade items), and not leaving anything else in
the cache (sigs ok). If you don't want to collect, please just sign
the log. Please let us know when there are only a few beads left in
the cache and bring your own pen.
The FTF of each of our geobead caches gets a unique bead that no
one else can earn. This very special FTF bead was created by
WorkerOfWood!
