Geocache Description:

BOUNCY BUNNY is from Ontario, CANADA. She is a RABBIT who even visited QUEBEC once. She has many FRIENDS. Sometimes she likes to stay home, BUT THAT doesn’t last long as she is always hoping to go out and hide her next GEOCACHE. Kitty CAT who she HAD known for a long time is her friend, as well as DUFUS DOG. You never know WHERE she is going to hide a stash next.

Bouncy Bunny Takes a Vacation

With all of the stress of designing new, interesting and unique puzzles, Bouncy Bunny really needed a rest. She needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of geocaching and find a place where she could be by herself and just take some time off. She wanted to find a place that was quiet, had some nice scenery and was set back in nature. She considered heading off to Europe, as she had never been there before. In fact she hasn’t ever been outside of Ontario, well except for those few days where she got lost and accidentally wound up in Quebec. She was so lost in Quebec and didn’t speak the language at all. She thought everyone in Quebec spoke English just like the rest of Canada, but she was very wrong. Even the other rabbits in Quebec ignored her, as they looked down on the English speaking bunnies. So as soon as she figured out where she was, she hopped onto a box car and left Quebec as fast as she could to return to her home in the Greater Toronto Area where she knew that others would respect her more.

Now how could a rabbit find her way to getting to Europe? She heard that the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) in South Eastern Germany was very nice. Yes she definitely wanted to visit that area. Well she was in luck, she had gotten a call from her old childhood friends Kitty Cat and Dufus Dog. Guess who were heading to Europe with their masters? However, Bouncy Bunny was a rabbit and she knew she could never get onto a plane on her own. Her friends wanted to help her, so they came up with a great idea. They made her a cat costume. She looked just like a cat in it…well maybe a strange looking cat. Meow she said, or at least tried to when they were being checked in at the airport, but it fooled them enough and she got onto the plane. Once in Europe, she stashed her costume, said bye to her friends, and headed off on her own for a few weeks, until they had to return back home to Canada. She had better not miss the plane. It was a long ways off to the Black Forest where she wanted to go. But she was a rabbit and could travel quite a distance with her powerful hind legs. Boy what a crazy place Germany was. Bouncy Bunny did not feel safe at all when she had to cross the many winding roads and even worse, the autobahn where cars drove like crazy, especially all those Mercedes, BMWs and Audis. She had a couple close calls with death, but luckily made it to her destination. She felt rather lost in the forest and was getting a bit thirsty. She found a nice refreshing spring where she cooled off and knew this was the place where she would spend the next couple of weeks until she had to meet her friends back at the airport. This was a nice place and even the people in the area all seemed very nice. No one bothered her as she nibbled at the plants around “her” little pool of water. It was like it was her own little paradise. The perfect place she needed to be.

One thing she was curious about was that she was in such a remote area, but yet every day it was always different people that came to her nice little pool of water. Some of them even fed her some veggies. She liked the carrots the best of course. Eventually she figured out that this was a natural spring coming out of the ground. She followed this spring for many kilometers until it reached the Donau (Danube) river and then realized that she had discovered the source of the Donau and named her little pool of water the Donauquelle. A couple more days at her Donauquelle and then back to the airport she went where she met up with her friends again, dressed back up in her cat costume and headed back home to Canada.

Upon arriving home however, she was very tired, probably due to the long plane flight and all the hundreds of kms she traveled by foot. She felt like she needed another vacation, to recover from her vacation. Of course, even while on vacation, she still came up with many new and wonderful ideas for puzzles, but she just has to find some new places to hide her future stashes now. I’m sure she will find them.
