This is a 2-stage cache with puzzles for each stage. The stages are
both at a local park in the woods near a paved trail. You will have
to go off the trail and make your way through the woods. It is
fairly overgrown, but we had little trouble getting around. The
stages are not very far apart. If you enter the park from Refugee
Road and park at the lot that is closest to the woods, you won't
have much of a hike from the trail to the cache.
Stage 1 is a peanut butter jar and has the puzzle for the
coordinates for stage 2 plus some scrap paper, in case you need to
write down the answers to the puzzle. Stage 2 is also a peanut
butter jar that has several arts and crafts items in it. This cache
was put together by our youngest daughter, Anna. She really enjoys
art. The coordinates listed for this cache will get you very close
to the actual hiding place for stage 1. Solve the puzzle below to
get a great hint about the location for the first stage. Substitute
a letter for each number to solve the puzzle.
