Geocache Description:

A public reading of two stories of extreme geocaching from the collection, "Geocaching GPS Volume 2: Great Personal Stories of Geocaching Firsts"

This is an event cache at the Mountain View Public Library about geocaching stories. It is a follow-up event to last year's event, GC6AECK. Mountain View authors (and husband and wife) Karen Allendoerfer (KarenLona) and Gerhard Wetzel (gw0143) will read from their short stories published in the anthology Geocaching GPS volume 2: Great Personal Stories of Geocaching Firsts and share pictures of their adventures.

This event will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Mountain View Public Library. Karen will read from her short story, "Gentle Icelandic Sheep," and Gerhard will read from "Up the Creek with Just One Paddle." Participants will have the opportunity to find a cache located at the library after the event.

Parking is available on Franklin and Mercy Streets and under the library
