This is a cache located at the Civillian Conservation Corps Camp Growden Heritage Site. The CCC came about in the 1930's during the Great Depression to help create jobs and do projects for the betterment of the outdoors. This area is one of those places. You can learn about the area's history from the interprative signs located there.
This is a Travel Bug/Geocoin motel cache. I have decided to do this cache as a base for travel bugs and geocoins to get from Colville to Republic and vice versa. Here at Republic, few travel bugs and geocoins ever make it, and if they do come, they usually have a short-lived stay. Hopefully, the movement and volume of travel bugs and geocoins will grow because of the cache.

This site has prime access to fishing. Beavers can also be seen from time to time. If you don't see a beaver, you will probably see their dams, lodges, or chew marks on trees. While in the area, be sure to check out Floating Cabin (GCW8HR) by Halffast+Super Bear. It is letter "F" in his Cabin Fever series. Have fun and be safe.
