Out of all the oak trees in Rockville Park I have two favorites, both with similar characteristics. I was surprised to discover that L&F recently placed "Longbranch Saloon" in one of them. He probably picked this tree because it has an extremely long branch just a few feet off the ground. My other favorite Rockville oak tree actually grows from private property and has a very long and twisted branch that grows over the fence and then extends some distance into the park. This branch bends and twists every few feet and in some places turns back upon itself. It almost has a tortured appearance. You are looking for a micro cache, not attached to the tree. Please bring your own pen.
