Geocache Description:

Part of a series called "Beaver Dam Creek". - (BDC) ____ This cache IS winter friendly! Please hide your tracks! Have fun!

The Beaver Dam Creek was an important waterway for the original inhabitants of the area. As farm land and later residential properties came into the area, the Creek was an important diversion route for heavy rains and spring run off. As it travels eventually to the north, it joins up with the famous "Duck Creek" which empties into the "Bay of Green Bay".
This location is the first point of open water remaining near the North West beginning point of the creek. Much of the creek has been channeled by large underground culverts to make the "urban sprawl" more convenient. Look to the west as you find the cache and you will see what I mean. This area is reserved for future use as a road bed headed east which will result in the Creek being piped underground even more.
This cache is winter friendly and should be winter available. It is a micro container which should not take you long to find and log in. Bring your own pen! Please try not to leave a trail right to the cache and replace it the same way you found it!
