Geocache Description:

It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

August 19, 2018 ***PLEASE NOTE!*** There is currently construction going on at this location. The cache is still accessible, but driving to the parking area is a bit of a challenge. You must either 1) enter using westbound 116th Street from the south, which is a one way road - you CANNOT EXIT this way, or 2) enter from Illinois Street from the west and drive around the entire perimeter of the hospital in order to get to the patient/visitor parking. Most of the lot is currently fenced in, but you can still park near the overlook and take the sidewalk. Please obey all parking signs.

One of my favorite movies of all time is AIRPLANE! I wanted to start a series of caches paying homage to some of the awesome lines from this classic movie.

This is a regular sized cache placed by an overlook near a hospital. At the overlook, you will also have the opportunity to walk a labyrinth installed by a family in memory of a loved one. It is truly a beautiful and serene location.

I personally recommend picking this one up in the evenings or on the weekends. Otherwise you might have traffic issues.

I have upsized and relocated the cache to a slightly different spot but it still has a fantastic view and several places to sit, relax and enjoy it. Parking for the cache is close by - the end of the patient and visitor parking by the overlook.
