This cache takes you to a partially restored old monastery from Byzantine times; the little church has been rebuilt and the remaining low walls delineate the original monks cells.
It's taken quite some time for it to get to this stage but there's an interesting information board in the grounds that shows the sites of medieval graves and how the monastery would have been outlined when first built; it's well worth a look when you've found the cache.
The church is dedicated to Saint Marina, the patron saint of debtors, and we've yet to find it unlocked which is unusual in Cyprus. Hopefully we'll be lucky one day as there are fragments of the original frescoes inside but in the meantime, enjoy your visit and be sure to look both ways before exiting the little slip road that leads to it.
