We had a successful CITO here in September 2016 and again this past April, but there is still some more work to be done. The newest and largest of Ross Township's parks, Short Line greenspace/trail park is officially open, with the start of some hiking trails. So let's get together and do a little hiking, caching, and picking up some litter/trash, and also earn the CITO week souvenir in the process. This event will begin at 10:00a.m. on Saturday September 23rd and run until about 11:30a.m. We will focus on the hillside again up off of Cemetery Lane.
There are plenty of caches in the area and several in the park. I will supply garbage bags and some refreshments. Please bring some work gloves and some good footwear. The park can be wet and muddy in spots. The CITO will go on rain or shine.
