There is a large obelisk at the entrance to this park. The plaque tells about the founders. This park is a great place to spend a day, sort of like a paradise!
Today was the first time we've ever brought our bikes here. If you haven't before, you should give it a try. Except for the lungbuster hills (or I'm fat and out of shape), it was a very enjoyable afternoon and we saw parts of the park we never noticed while driving. The location of the cache is one of them. While you can see much while driving, there are parts that are best enjoyed on foot.
The flowering dogwoods were at peak the day this cache was placed, but there is always something to see. Enjoy!
Oh yeah, the container is a small lock and lock with room for a few trinkets.
