Geocache Description:

12:15pm, Saturday September 15
Ridge Road Picnic

This is the companion event to Ridge Road CITO that takes place on the same date in this park.

The massive picnic shelters and pavilions are all booked and paid for on this day, but there is a large (though roofless) group picnic site that we can use. We should be fine, unless it pours. Then again, IF it pours, I'm guessing we likely can pull the sympathy card as poor wet&hungry trail maintenance crew, and weasel our way into the graces of whoever booked the large shelter nearby ;).

The picnic takes place on September 15, and starts at 12:15, give or take, or whenever the crew comes back from the CITO. At least one of us will be at or near the picnic site from noon to 1pm. Hot dogs, burgers and drinks will be provided, and the elite grillmasters of Saxon Woods Picnic fame, @leenie222, thankfully again volunteered to take care of crisping up the protein! If you'd like to contribute something to the communal meal, please mention so in your will-attend, so that we don't end up with 10 packs of chocolate chip cookies. For the CITO participants, there will also be a raffle for prizes. The picnic is a separate event otherwise though, there is no need to attend the CITO if CITO's ain't your thing, or if you can't make it time wise. All are welcome!
