Geocache Description:

This cache is located in scenic Sheldrick Forest of Wilton, NH.
The Coordinates above are now correct with thanks to "Solid-Rock-Seekers".

BUGSPRAY IS A MUST!!!

No pets are allowed & only foot travel is.

Directions to the parking lot are in the description below.

From Milford, drive west on Route 101 past Wilton center. Turn left onto Temple Road just beyond Gary's Harvest Restaurant. 0.3 mile on Temple Road, bear left to cross a bridge, and the turn left onto Town Farm Road. Travel 0.7 mile to the preserve entrance. Parking is in a field to the left of the road.

The tree coverage makes this geocache almost unruly to pinpoint, but it is within 50 feet of the coordinates above.

Pick up maps at the Kiosk for an easier trip, however all trails are well marked as are all junctions. I do suggest that cachers, especially those with children, pick up the interpretive guides that correspond to the numbers you'll find in the forest. To start you on the right trail, find a little path running through the tall grasses from the parking lot to the left of the kiosk.

Take Helens Path to Margaret's Meander. What a view! (Ignore the sounds of 101 below.)

It's in the vacinity of an educational point and is not a dangerous distance (in other words, it's not down the steep hill!)

Original contents include:
A REAL 10K GOLD BLUE SAPPHIRE RING!!!!
Freddie the Frog TB
Spiderman Laser signal
Sculpy Clay
Brand new crayons in a plastic carry case
A hot/cold eye pack (30 seconds in the microwave will keep it warm for an hour) that has never been used.
A tribal type necklace
a bracelet
A lot of these trees are over 100-150 years old! Many are 200 years old! This is the oldest forest in all of New Hampshire! Take in the feeling and take out any trash you find. ;)
