Flash mob (FLASH mawb) n. A large group of people who gather in a usually predetermined location, perform some brief action, and then quickly disperse. —v., —adj.
This is a 05 minute event !!!
At precisely 11.00 BST on Friday, 1st August 2014, a whistle will blow and Geocachers will converge on the above coordinates from dark corners, behind lamp posts, big trees, shrubs and other inconspicuous places. Each holding a piece of string, which in turn is attached to an empty can or two (A soup can for example). Don't forget to drag it over the streets, paths to ensure a brilliant sound effect. The Soup Dragon will be proud of you! (More than one can is permitted, but all must be taken away after for proper disposal). The Gz location is in a very public place, and next to a busy road within the shopping area. The area may be already crowded with shoppers, so please be respectful and polite. We don't want to bring our hobby into the local community with negative impact. Please keep a close watch on your Children due to traffic and most of all make the muggles look in bewilderment!
Due to the location and high volume of expected Clangers, we recommend walking around the tree (GZ) in a clockwise direction. This will ease congestion at the location. If this is not possible due to a high turnout, please do what ever your able to clang away in the area. The more the merrier! Feel free to even stand on the opposite side of the road if necessary, every clang helps!
5 minutes sounds a long time but it will pass quickly. Please be ready for the second whistle and then filter away from GZ, still clanging as you go . Count to 20 and pick up your cans and wonder off as if nothing had happened. Have Fun!!!

In a nut shell, here's what's happening:
At exactly 11.00am BST the event starts.
Clang those tins. When the second whistle blows At exactly 11.05am BST walk away clanging, count to 20 and pick up your cans, the Clangers Event will end.
Difficulty rating of 1 rating. This area is suitable for all cacher's.
Knitted jumpers and dustbin lids optional. (See above photo for details) If adults don't like to dress up, feel free to dress your children in your old jumpers.
