This cache is not on the ancient Forest boundary of the 1240 Perambulation, but has been placed as a waymark between West Mill Tor and Cullever Steps. More details about the Perambulation can be found on the cache page for the Dartmoor Forest Bonus. On the front page of the logbook is an adjustment to be made to the Bonus co-ordinates, which you will need to find the Bonus.
If doing the Perambulation as a route, the next point on is Cullever Steps. From Rowtor head east to the military track, and follow this down to the bridge at Cullever Steps.
Please Note: This is a Military Training Area on which live firing and other pyrotechnics may be used. The cache is within the Okehampton Range. The area is generally open public access. One of the safety rules for public access is:- Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all byelaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed. These may be physical barriers, flags or lights.
