Geocache Description:

The second one in a series to come of Stunning Views of Phuket. High above Patong Beach.

At the highest point of the road between Patong Beach and Kathu you pass a temple. Left of this temple there is a small road leading up in the hills. You can leave your vehicle at the bottom in front of the temple, but it will be a long way to the cache.

The road mostly paved concrete, you can go with a scooter or (not low-rider) car. I would not recommend a scooter for someone without experience in riding these things.

Follow the road up until you get the greatest view of Patong Bay possible. That's the place. If you are hiking there, don't forget to take drinking water. And you will need your camera, for sure.

If you pass a blue house on the left side of the road, you went too far.

Google Maps shows a road to the location coming up from the west. Do not try that way, it is impassable.

The 35mm canister has been replaced by a Petling, it contains a logbook and pencil. Should be really waterproof now.
